Consortium:
Jozef Stefan Institute (project leader), CellMat Technologies and Association for the Development of Industrial Aerodynamics.

The project aims to develop the CleanTechBlock (CTB), an innovative building solution with integrated foamed glass insulation, designed to be sustainable, adaptable, and energy-efficient. It focuses on optimizing the thermal properties of foamed glass produced from waste materials, improving building performance across different climates, and reducing environmental impact through life cycle assessment and circular economy strategies.
Call & Funding Entities: The MODAIS project was developed in the frame of CLEANTECHBLOCK – “Sustainable Multi-Functional Building Block Basics” . CLEANTECHBLOCK project received funds from M-ERA.NET 2016 program and it was co-funded by the ADE (Agency for Enterprise Innovation, Funding and Internationalization) and by the Research and Innovation Program Horizon 2020 of the European Union.
